$9.99 a month plus tax covers the website and keeps it running: hosting, security, backups, and up to two small content changes a month, with the first 30 days free and no card required to start. Add a card before day 30 and the plan continues at $9.99 a month; add none and the trial simply ends at day 30, nothing is charged, and the site comes down. It does not cover redesigns or new pages. Cancel any time from the billing page. After twelve months on the plan the site and its code are yours to keep; cancel before then and the site simply comes down, with nothing transferred. A web address, if one is needed, is registered in the business's name after the first successful payment, or an existing one is pointed at the site.
